Delphinus

Poseidons greatest Lieutenant

In Greek mythology, Delphin was a sea god shaped as a dolphin. He served in Poseidons court as his Lieutenant. When Poseidon sought out Amphitrite for marriage, she fled to the Atlas Mountains. In pursuit of his desire, Poseidon sent forth many creatures, but it was Delphin who ventured with a heart full of devotion. With his words as sweet as the ocean breeze, he persuaded Amphitrite to return to wed Poseidon. In gratitude for his success, Delphin was immortalized in the heavens, his form forever etched in the stars as the constellation Delphinus, a shimmering reminder of loyalty.
